I am needing some help! Can someone translate these instructions in English? Haha
I am semi new to crochet and this is my first real stumbling block. Thank you so so much!

(ch-1 sp, Dc, ch-1 sp). Beg shell. (Shell in center ch-1 sp of next shell) 6 times. *Ch 7. Miss next 14 shells.*(shell in center ch-1 sp of next shell) 13 times.
Rep from *to* once more. (Shell in center ch-1 sp of next shell) 6 times. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 4.

I am making a dress for my little girl. The chain space and such has me so confused! What do I do and where do I stitch at?

I could be wrong, but what it sounds like it is telling you is chain one skip that one space, double crochet in the next space, chain one and skip the space below it. I hope this helps. -janine

I think I figured it out! I was so stumped with the ch 7 and skip 14. I would ch and then look at it and think, this cannot be right, it doesn't hook to anything. It looked so weird and just wrong. After thinking about it, I thought, this has got to be the arm hole (DUH). So, I'm going to attempt to get it right. I guess I was just on crochet pattern gibberish overload! I will attempt to get some pics of it. It's going to be such an adorable little dress if I can pull the rest of it off!
