Do you crochet while watching tv or movies?

My husband and I use to team drive tractor trailers and when I was done driving before I would go to bed I would unwind by crocheting. I made a lot of afghans while we where on the road.

Yes, mostly I just glance or just listen to the TV.

Oh yes , my husband always says are you watching this and i giggle and say of course I also bring it with me when I'm waiting for a client at Dr. office. small projects.

I have been doing it so long that I find myself very uncomfortable any more if I don't have hook in hand while watching TV or a movie. Seems like wasted time to me if not. The only time I put it down is when I get tired and I don't want to make a mistake.

I even take it with me on visits to friends and families homes.

I take my crocheting to friends places also. Anyplace that, i can crochet. We go to a lot of music jams and I get a lot of afghans made there.
It is relaxing and I can enjoy the music also.

I'm doing that right now and thought I was messing up....double-checked the pattern and found it was messed up....got to figure it out now or 3/4 of a hat is messed up.....using the Shine on Sun Hat pattern and row 20 does not agree with itself.....

Our evenings go this way: we eat dinner while watching the evening news. I do dishes while the Master of the TV Controller flips channels and decides what We want to watch for the evening. I sit down, pick up my crochet hook and go along with whatever he has decided to watch, whether it be movies, talk shows or NCIS.
