Hi Katybug,
I also have a husband who can fix anything. They are a real blessing!! Please post a photo of your winder and yarn cakes when you get time. You sound like a very busy lady! Oh, and give that great hubby of yours a big hug for his wonderful ability to fix things!! When my husband does something like that, I always call him "My Hero". He likes that.
~~~ Hugs, Jo
Hi Dancingbaehr! Yes.....having a husband that can fix anything is a true blessing! He says that we make a great team...I am the idea person and he makes it work! LOL 42 years and 4 kids later, we are still a team!
I did post the pic of the winder and a yarn cake, but unfortunately, it was upside down. I'll send it again right now :-)Last edited by Katybug; 05-15-2014 at 08:23 PM.
Now that's a considerate hubby, for sure! And you just reminded me that I have a piece of equipment that needs a wire fix (my Xyron laminator). I'll see if my hubby can get it working again.
Thanks Jo! We were on a cruise and I believe that was taken at Margaritaville (Jimmy Buffet) restaurant. They had the Frankie and Lola stand out front. So, of course, we did the touristy thing, LOL!
We do like to have fun, Jo. You've got to make the best of every opportunity, right? In fact, I was in the ocean kissing stingrays earlier in the day and we threw a party in our suite that night. We made friends on that trip that we're still in communication with. Gosh, I think I've already talked myself into going on another cruise, LOL!
My husband is like that to. If I show him something he will make it for me. He does carvings and can build a lot of things
