Does crocheting make you sleepy too?

Same here Roe. If I just watch TV 9 times out of 10 I will fall asleep. My husband used to get really mad when I picked a movie and quickly fell asleep. Now that I crochet when I watch TV, this is much less of a problem. I have been known, though, to fall asleep sitting up with my hook in my hand!

I've done that too. But I've learned my lesson on the project i'm doing now. At least you catch yourself in time!

It only makes me sleepy if I'm already tired but crocheting is my stress buster!!

So many times I have woke up, head back on the couch, crochet hook and yarn in hand, and snoring away. lol

Several years ago before I had glasses , I would always get sleepy when I was crocheting. Then some one told me to get my eyes tested. So I did, & I did need glasses. After that I was fine.

lol! I have awaken sitting in the rocking chair with my glasses crooked, my crocheting in my hand with the t.v. watching me numeral times!

Oh yes I do. I hate to crochet during the day because I fell to sleep and one time last week I didn't wake up until 6:PM from 2 in the afternoon. So, you are not alone. lol

If I am not talking or watching TV while crocheting, I get sooo sleepy. Just wondering if anyone else does too?

Oh yeah! I crochet myself to sleep all the time. My friends laugh at me.

That's pretty funny. I also do that when I'm reading. The other night when I was sitting in my chair & reading, my daughter told me , that's about the 6th time you fell asleep. Why don't you go to bed?
