    Ravalry patterns

I am beginning to dislike Ravalry.com very much for the simple reason I have yet to be successful at downloading a pattern from that website. It says FREE and then I look all over creation for the download for the pattern and can't EVER find it! I can see the place where I think it will download and then it doesn't. I can sign in and get to see the beautiful patterns for granny squares that I would love to try but I can't ever, ever ever get a pattern! Does anyone else have that problem? If I am missing something please clue me in will you! The patterns are so pretty but all I can do is look and wish!!! Patty

I quit going to Ravalry, I can find lotd of nice items, but can never figure out how to get the pattern, and it does say it is a free pattern. I also have problems with Penterest. Never go to any of those sights.

I made a little video to help any of you who are struggling to download patterns from Ravelry. It's often the designer's fault if there is a problem with the download. Watch the video to see how you can tell what will work and what won't.

I've been able to open them so far. I usually just click on this pattern is available for free. Sometimes it goes straight to the website that it is on. Other times, it will ask if I want to download or save. So far, so good.
