I love anything new and different but I end up making more snowflakes than anything else. I do love the lacy intricate patterns and I enjoy the stiffening process as well. I always finish them off with hanging beads. So pretty on the tree or in a window.

I love lacy patterns also. This year I tried tatting, but it wasn't what I was looking for, next year I want to do some Romanian Point lace . I just learned how to crochet the cord that is used as an outline to fill in with stitching like embroidery netting and that makes a kind of lace. I would do bobbin lace if my eyesight was better.
