    Looks like we've all been there...I can sure relate. Sometimes my "leap of faith" method of crochet doesn't match the vision and sometimes it does. I'm wearing my leap of faith sweater right now. I'll attach a picture pretty soon. My hips are 46" and I made my sweater 40" (using the foundation chain sc as the first row). It fits, and it's not tight.
