    I did that also, but now, especially if it's getting a trim, or being seamed. Now, I do a large sc, and then ignore it. and proceed with the first stitch. I never count that turning sc. It works good.

    Thank You! this double knot is better than my square knot. I know this knot is used for joining rope. duh !

    You're welcome. I love the magic knot. Use it 99% of the time to join jarn. If done properly it is virtually invisible and strong.
