I love this design and am considering how it might look in thread as a lacy window treatment. Lovely.

How wonderful! Thank you for posting. I myself am fascinated by the "Peoples" series by the Gears. I would love to see more motifs by the different "Peoples" and incorporate them into one afghan. Wonderful History there

    Talking Native American fish motif

Thank you for this beautiful square. What a unique way to use up all those shirt buttons that take up room in our precious button collections. I plan to pass this on to my niece that is married to an indian. He'll love this. I think I'll try one myself. I love new and interesting things to inter into the fair. Please post yje Eagle when you get it. I think it would really be neat to combine the squares. Thank you again.

I read your latest post on the other squares you are planning. I have a son-in-law from Tobasco, Mexico. Will there be anything from that area? Thank you for your talent. maspuds

Do you have the names of the tribes, that way I can look for images to help me design. Right now I'm looking at Aztec and Mayan glyphs.

Here is a site that you can look at, and I believe it has the whole series and a timeline also for the series. They are very well written as well as informative, at least they really have piqued my interest in the early North American history.
