    Jan I couldn't agree with you more. I am always crocheting for Christmas gifts, and birthday gifts. When none of those gift giving holidays are near by I try to make something for myself....

    I am almost done with this pattern and it is coming pretty nice. I did come to a snag where the pattern must me incorrect. I posted my problem on another thread but was unable to describe the situation....but I did what I thought I should do after I himmed and hawwed a bit and complained that I came so far now what! But now I am out of yarn and there is no getting that until next weekend!.......

    I do that sometime if I don't quite understand what the pattern is saying I figure out what looks good and go from there glad you are crocheting for you one of my favorite tops is one I made for myself but I had made several others for other people some I got paid to make and some were for family
    crocheting my life away for kids & charity
