ahhhh.... that is so precious. My step-grandaughter was born about a month ago. She was premature, still in the hospital, weighing now 2lb 10oz. Of course, she is still in the hospital but is doing great! I say 'step' but to me she is my granddaughter and that little tiny being has touched my heart (maybe because she is my husband's first grandchild). I hope I can make this little hat to keep her tiny head warm

beautiful work. i too love to make baby things. for my great granddaughter i made a cocoon an hat out of the multi-colored pipsquek yarn , was so soft an pretty. also made a layette, sweater, hat, booties, an blanket. baby things make up so fast. my 7 yr. old granddaughter still brings the bear blankie that i made for her before she was born. a lot of wear, but its always in her backpack when she comes to spend the night. anyways, thank you for sharing, i love the pattern too.
