Great new site
Just found this great new (to me) site. Perhaps some of you already know of it but will post the link for those who don't:
Stacey Trock's Fresh Stitching | a blog about crochet, amigurumi, knitting & designing
Stacey is wonderfully talented, she gives lots of hints and tips and has a fun blog too. She has a free e-book for those of you who might be interested in amigurumi, it is for beginners and answered a lot of my questions (my first attempts were a bit wobbly but I am sure I can improve with her easy-to-follow directions). Take a look here:
Free Beginner’s Guide to Amigurumi! | Stacey Trock's Fresh Stitching
see what you think. Margaret

I'm addicted to amigurumi (if only I could learn to spell it without looking, lol!)
Thanks, Maragaret! Now here's some more patterns I don't have enough time to make because I have collected so many, lol! Just kidding.

Hi Patti I just finished my little sailor elephant, but he is a bit lopsided. Still I like him. That site has some great vids on how to do things, and tips on small things you don't always think about. I am making a generic person now, I want to try to dress it, perhaps in a Hogwarts uniform. Don't have a pattern for that but I have seen some examples that are really good.

That sounds great! We need a picture of that!
My grandchildren have not discovered Harry Potter yet, but when they do, I'll be sure to look you up!

I don't know how to upload, I must look into that.
My grandkids must be the HP experts! They have read the books several times over and we always went to the midnight premieres in costume. It is so sad it is over, we had so much fun with it all. You can look forward to all that, lucky you.

To load pictures hit the advanced button on the lower left next to the post reply button. After you get there, look for a paper clip. A screen will popup that wil allow you to load your pictures from your computer.
The Forum's Need Help tab goes into more detail.
