I have read every post on this thread and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the scarf you posted and love the way yours turned out. Thank you so much for all of your hard work in making up the pattern and also for the great photo tutorials! I will save your pattern and photos to my computer for future reference and hope to some day make the scarf. It looks like a lot of work, but totally worth it. You are such a sweetie to share this with all of us!

Yes, I agree. After I discovered acrylic thread (usually in #5 size), I couldn't help but wonder if that might be a better thread to work this scarf with. The cotton thread needs detailed blocking - every petal of every flower had to be pinned, otherwise the flower curled up. Perhaps with an acrylic/synthetic thread or a lace-weight wool this wouldn't be necessary.
