    Hi! Glad I found this site, I love to crochet. I taught myself to crochet, by watching my grandmother when I was younger, also taught myself to read patterns.

    Hi craftywil!

    Glad you're here! I'm like you in that I watched my mother and grandmother crochet as a child and even did some version of crochet with them but it wasn't until I was adult that I actually started crocheting by teaching myself. I'm sure my earlier training helped but there's nothing like learning something by figuring it out yourself is there.

    Hope to see you posting pictures of some of your work, soon!
