Hello from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Hi there, after many years being away from crocheting I am back at it. Thanks to YouTube I have been able to view and recall how to do those stitches I used long ago! However, I do have a question..........Why did my baby blanket start to ripple and look wider than the beginning stitches? Thanks for any help!

Hello and welcome!
We are glad you joined us here on Crochet Talk! Please make yourself right at home here and let us know if you have need of anything!
On your baby blanket, I wonder if you are crocheting more loosely in the beginning?

Hi! Could you be adding stitches without realizing it? Counting is usually important. Glad you are here! imalefty

Welcome to CT. I mostly crochet baby blankets for Project Linus. I agree with Imalefty (I am too) that you are probably adding a stitch on one end or both! Count each row for several rows until you know! Shirley

Well I posted, but I don't think I clicked the right button. Will try again.......
Thanks Lili, I will count, but I am doing the cluster stitch and am not sure how to count this.

Hi and welcome!!! I agree that you should try counting your stitches. Maybe count the clusters and see if you have added any of them also? Just a thought...
