Hello!
Just dropping in to introduce myself. I'm a freelance writer, I've been crocheting since I was 9 or 10. I love it, it's a great outlet for creativity when I can't write or need to recharge my batteries.
Right now, I'm working on an afghan for my little brother as a Christmas gift. I may be doing a craft fair soon. Glad to see everyone and find a new place to socialize!

Yay another freelance writer in the house! I'm a writer too. Well, at least I do try to be a good writer. I have a blog where I can release my urge in writing and I've also just 1 article at ezine articles. But real life, work, and a whole lot of other things has prevented me from going all out in the world of writing. Wow you're doing an afghan? That's pretty impressive! I haven't made an afghan before. I find the amount of work a bit challenging. Maybe when I have more free time on my hands. Anyway, it was great meeting you and I'm looking forward to see or hear about your crochet projects. Welcome to crochet talk!

Welcome writer_crafter,
It is nice to meet you! I love to write, too. I am writing web content for several people, and also have a yahoo contributor account. I have just started with submitting to ezine.
Writing allows me to be home with my children and work part time on the side. Welcome aboard!

Wow a yahoo contributor! That sounds quite impressive. I haven't even dabbled in that area as of yet. My writing projects are normally part time since I have day job so I can't go all out 100% in writing. So I enjoy the moments when I do get into a project. I really want to pursue my ezine writing articles but that takes a lot of my time. Maybe during the holidays I can polish up on some of my ideas. Anyhow, its just real awesome that I can meet up with you all!

I've written for the YCN, too I've mostly moved on to other sites now for better pay, but I also enjoy being at home. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Yes, YCN does not pay a whole lot. It has been a learning experience, overall. I am just now learning about other avenues. It does take a lot of time to learn different possible avenues!
