Greetings from Wyoming, USA
Good afternoon everyone.
I thought I would get off my duff and introduce myself. I am a divorced, medically retired police officer who took up crocheting to help with my PTSD. My initial thought of learning to crochet was not one filled with positivity and promise! But as I drudged through YouTube videos, learning how to create more than a simple chain without throwing my hook across the room, I began to find just how correct my counselor was....crocheting has given me tools to work through episodes of PTSD and feel as though I've accomplished something! Random acts of kindness are never far from my mind - or yarn stash!
I now have two gorgeous grandchildren who are consistently more-than-happy to be my muses and/or models.
I look forward to "meeting" new people and hopefully make a few friends along the way!

Hello Kerri Hartman. Welcome to the forum. I crochet for my granddaughters and some other family members. I taught myself to knit watching you tube videos. I like to crochet more than knit. I also do some Tatting and cross stitch.
I like all needle work and I find it relaxing.
