Hi, y'all! I'm having the weirdest conundrum...

I just finished an Afghan and washed it like I've always done all of the others. This time when
I took it out of the dryer the last row of stitches had just "come undone". It's totally impossible.
    (I think).
It was a row of 15 stitches that were still there and pulled out as a solid string of yarn but even tho the stiches were in tact they were no longer connected to each other at the top. I would understand if the knot came loose and it unraveled but how could the stiches still be there and pull out as a solid length of yarn in a row of 15 stitches?
Any help would be appreciated. Wish i had taken a picture...

    Hi Trisha,
Welcome. Can you crochet over the stitches that came out?
