    Smile Greetings from Finalnd!

    Nice to meet you, everyone!

Warm greetings from rather chilly Finland, Northen-Europe.

I have been crocheting for as long as I can remember, always learning new stuff and scooping inspiration from life around me.

I mostly crochet clothes and also write patterns for others to try out.

It is always nice to be part of the pleasant company and as far my experiences go, crocheters always are! So thank you all for accepting me!
    All the best,

I have tried years ago to knit a baby sweater in Fair Isle technique, I finished it but still , I have to admit, knitting is not my first choice of method to create. I'll stick to crochet

Hi MyLacyLife, I taught myself to knit by watching you tube videos. I have a Fair Isle pattern for a little girl I want to try. I like a challenge. I agree with you Crochet is my first choice too and it works up faster.

Below is the picture off the sweater I want to make. Do you think this will be hard to do.

Hi Spoula! That is a very nice sweater and just appropriate I think, because you have to use just two colors. Not like 20 colors as in the very traditional Fair Isle. Also the pattern part is in waist area and you don’t have to worry about increacing and decreacing there and at the same time to try to stay on track with pattern-matching issues. So give it a try, you’ll never know without trying! Best luck!
