    Hama Irvine

Hi, I am new to the forum. I have been crocheting for 41 years and am just starting on knitting. I have taken my Masters Crochet Class and passed with flying colors. My next goal is to do the Knitting Masters class, but that will be down the road. I have 3 daughters and 3 Beautiful Grandbabies. My name is Patty, but my Grandbabies call me Hama Irvine. I live in Irvine Ca, and there other Grandma live in San Diego, CA and Corona, CA, so thats how I came up with Hama Irvine.

Hi Patty! And welcome! What do you have to do in a Master Crochet Class? What did you have to do to pass? Maybe I'm a sheltered crocheter as I've never heard of that! Anyway-glad you have joined us!

    Hello,

Welcome to the group! It is great to have you here! I am curious about your crochet masters class as well. Is this something you take through an institution, or college. Please let us know more about it if you can! Thanks!

The Masters Crochet Class is through Crochet Guild of America. Go onto their website and you will find the Masters Class listed their. The Masters Class has many different stitches that they test you on and also on how well you know your stitch language. If you have been crocheting for a long time and wonder how good you are at it, then I would recommend taking the class. You have to stitch swatches, insert them into notebooks and then mail them to your person that is going to be checking your work to see how well you did on them. Once you pass the class, you get a certificate and a pin to wear with a charm on it that says that you passed your Master's class. I hope that answers your questions about the class. Larisa, very nice to meet you too!
