not really new but it has been awhile
Hi all I am not a new member but I have not been on CT for some time. I live in Kentucky and have been crocheting off and on well over 35 years actually closer to 40. I crochet a little of everything clothes, afghans, amigurumi. I am currently working on a UK blanket for my granddaughters other Grandpa who is a huge UK fan, I started a Tigger today, I have a peppermint afghan in progress and I am crocheting ruby red slippers for my granddaughters halloween costume. I already made her witches tutu (she is going to be the cutest wicked witch. and mom and dad are going to dress up as flying monkeys) I just finished a winnie the pooh for my Granddaughter who just turned 1 (she apparently really loves it she tackle hugs it every day) I also just finished a pineapple shawl for my mother in law. I ussually never have less then 5 crochet projects going at the same time It keeps be from getting bored with the same ole stitches.
God will never put more on your plate then you can handle.

Thank you
amigurumi is so easy don't let it scare you. 95 % of amigurumi is sc and counting winnie the pooh had some HDCGod will never put more on your plate then you can handle.

I want to try it in the near future, and I LOVE LOVE your Pooh, he's wonderful! There are the CUTEST amigurumi patterns out there. It seems that it would be stressful to do, though. I crochet for relaxation, and peace. Even though I've been crocheting for decades, I prefer the easy, beginner patterns.

I will admit I have done a few that were a bit stressful but for the most part very very easy this one stressed me out but not because it was hard I was on a christmas morning deadline
