Carolyn Gail (Grammy, Nana, MiMi, Lola, and GiGi)
Hello to ALL....Married 51 years; mother of 3; grandmother of 6; great grandmother of 1...PROUD Military family....
I am relatively new to crocheting, although I have been crocheting the granny afghans for a couple of years. In love with this hobby and would like to expand too other projects...Would like very much if someone could volunteer some simple projects to get me started in the vast world of crocheting..One project that I would really like to try is making slippers.....I have viewed many patterns, but they seem to be complicated to a "new" crocheter.....
In advance, let me thank any fellow crocheters who are able to help me, in my twilight years, (LOL), to become more proficient in the art of crocheting!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome Carolyn Gail, to expand your stitch knowledge I suggest watching you tube videos. I did find this pattern of simple slippers, not a video but there are pictures of the work in progress How to Make Simple Crochet Slippers « Crafts « Zoom Yummy
God will never put more on your plate then you can handle.

Howdie, and welcome; have you considered granny square slippers? It's a bit of joining but it might be easier.....happy crocheting.
