Hi, I'm new to this community online!
I am Ronda and I have crocheted since the age of 10. I learned how from my late mother. I mostly like making baby things, but occasionally make afghans or special projects. Crochet is not my only craft with yarn, however. I also knit, and tat lace with shuttles and needles--I do a little cro-tatting with a special hook, too. My other passion is sewing of all kinds--quilts, garment sewing, home dec, and also antique doll costuming. It will be nice to meet you online and see some of your work! Thanks!

Thank you Ronda! May I see your works? I always wanted to learn tatting and I have shuttles but do not have time to tat.

Will have to upload some here. It takes time and practice, but promise once you get it, you will love making it. I have been tatting about 20 years. Shuttle tatter but have also done a little bit of needle tatting. I don't like needle tatting as much as I do shuttle work. The workings are the same but bulkier. Of course much depends on thread size, but really my favorite is to use either number 20 or 30 weight thread for starting to tat. It is big enough thread to see your stitches, yet fine enough to do great work. I do edges, bookmarks, and the like. Ronda
