newbee to the site my name is ruidosogal
Hello Im from New Mexico home of horse racing and the all American Horse Race. And we have skying with the Apachie first americans. I am very glad to find this forum. I crochet and am learning to knit. My Grand mother and Mother-inlaw whom I dearly loved both have passed and have left this kraft to work with. I also have a problem with gage. And I am always looking for new patterens. I tought my self to do the crock stich and it was fun. any one with a new stich let me know. I an 64 years Young but you can teach a old dog new tricks. I am also retired and cant get out much.

I was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico but my family moved back to Arkansas when I was 6 months old. Have only been back to Carlsbad, once. Glad to have you here. You mentioned skying with the Apache--not sure what that means, could you explain?

Oh, I get it, Duh, sorry, lol.
From the parts of New Mexico that I'm familiar with it's hard to imagine weather cold enough for skiing so I just didn't think, lol! Do you live in the mountainous part---that's pretty there.
I live in the flat, Mississippi Delta part of Arkansas, although we do have parts that have mountains--mostly more like hills--so no skiing.
