KIDNEY STONES. what a pain!

Seashells_shelly here. Back after days of water, crackers and rest. And I am here to say that, YES, KIDNEY STONES HURT MORE THAN HAVING A BABY!. Of course then I have a UTI and a sinus infection. Don't know when I'll be back on but thanks to everyone who sent me msgs of encouragement.

Hang in there yarn savers of the world, you'll have to pick up the slack I've left by lying in bed seems like forever. My 4th day of antibiotics so I should start feeling better by the end of the day. X-ray Tuesday morning to see if large stone went away. This is my first and if I have any say about it, my very last episode with anything related to kidney stones. HUGS to all, Shelly

Shelly, what a bummer! And, yes I've heard that kidney stones are soooo painful. Hope they go away and you are back to your feisty self soon!

I hope you are feeling better Shelly I too have had kidney stones and they were not my cup of tea. I had to spend 5 days in the hospital and then did 4 treatments of iv antibiotic when I got out. I am sending you hugs.

AAAAHHHHHHHHH NO......I DON'T WANT THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad you survived that ordeal, whew. I am having an x-ray tomorrow morning to see how things are moving (hahaha) along. My doctor will let me know on Thursday if I am allowed to go to SC Thursday night until Monday. My hubby is going whether I can go or not. If necessary, I will be visiting a urologist who may put me in the hospital with IV fluids and ultrasound the stone(s) or try and get them out (whatever that means in plain English). I thought I would be feeling much better today but I am still beat. My daughter told me this morning on the phone, get up, get dressed, move around, you'll feel better....UM--NOT. I'm hanging in there until the x-ray tomorrow and then I'll keep hanging in there as long as I need to. "Where you see only one set of footprints........" HUGS, Shelly

My Friend Im disappointed as & even read from a Book of verses for you. I will be gone Wed to Thurday late, overnight Anniversary Casino night. Son will drive , we should have fun. I so hope you can go or stay home NO HOSP. Mind daughter & me, get up and try dont push yourself, I always say we know what our bodies feel like & can do. LUV & Prayers. Susan M J
