Hello Ladies, I have been kinda out of it lately. Sorry I am trying to do better. Between the Holiday blues, the pain flares [of fibro,dg arthritise, headaches, etc] being grounded from most travel, missing the kids and grandkids, weather, well you all know the plot to this lament. I am just not with it. I am now starting on a new round of Doctors and am very down hearted. I try to keep a good out look, but, darn, it is so hard at times. I am so very thankful that the grandkids have been calling! I have been hearing from 8 of them by phone and another 7 of them by facebook. The rest are by notes on facebook from their folks. I kinda have a love hate relationship with this time of year. I love these holidays, but miss having the kids around. I like the changes in season, but hate the way my body reacts. I like the festive decorations and shopping, but get uncomfortable in large crowds. I love to buy gifts, but need to make the few pennies we have stretch as far as possible. I see my friends, neighbors, loved ones struggling and wish I could help with more than just a listening ear and some times a bit of advise. I know that you all have these same issues and I hope you are able to enjoy your loved ones and friends. We may not be all that we would like but we sure do try! Be strong and safe out there! I wish every one of you a joyous celebration of life, love and kinship! Later Gaters! Kit

HI KITTY! You hit it right on the nose or button with everything you said! I know so many of you are dealing with colder weather than here and the triggers it causes on our pain is horrible! The blues really put a factor on the pain as well! Today no matter how much I hurt I want to go do something today! I GOING TO GO DO SOMETHING TODAY! I hope everyone is staying warm and trying to keep their pain levels down! LOVE YOUR FRIEND MANDA!

I don't have fibro, but can sympathize with you pain. It is sad but so true, if people don't have a lot of pain, just can't understand that just because you can't see pain, doesn't make it less debilitating.Thankfully I am not in the pain I was in. I go to a Pain Management Specialist, I get what they cause nerve blockers, a lot of people give up before it helps, It took 7 or 8 month to really start helping. I thank God everyday that I didn't give up like most people do. I pray they can find a med that can control your pain.

Thanks MeerKat. There does seem to be an awful lot of us out there. Way to many for all these Docs to keep telling us it's all in our heads. I hope you are doing well. Take care over there in Illinois. We are snowed in over here in northern Indiana. My drive has over 14 inches and more keeps blowing in from the neighbors! LOL! We should be able to get out tomorrow afternoon sometime, maybe! Later Gaters! Kit
