What's for Dinner? Mmm-mmm good!
My hubby is really enjoying my cooking! In the past, we have eaten out/take-out. Last year, I added cooking as a hobby and it's taken off! I'm experimenting with different seasonings and making many discoveries about making our meals tasty and nutritional.
What are you cooking in the kitchen or is it take-out/eating out today?

I'm cooking a chuck pot roast in the crockpot and cabbage at this point. The pot roast was hand-selected by hubby when we went grocery shopping together. We'll see what else I'll add to our meal!I know we need some cornbread for sure. What would you add to this meal?

I made some gluten-free cornbread just to try a new recipe---not my taste! Maybe I'll acquire the taste for it since I don't want to dump it in the trash. I also made a pasta salad to go with our meal. It was delicious! I added whole potatoes, onions and carrots to the pot roast. It was so tender and mouth-watering! The cabbage was sooooo good too!

Yesterday, my daughters made Mother's Day so special. My younger daughter prepared a delicious meatloaf, mouth-watering cabbage, tasty sweet potatoes, tender-tasting mac & cheese and my older daughter made some good cornbread. A moist lemon cake was bought at the store. This is one of my favorite meals which was lovingly prepared for me by my lovely daughters.

I wish I could have been at your house yesterday.. I was by myself so I made Chilli dogs. Since I live by myself I don't cook any real meals anymore.

Yesterday I bought ground beef, chicken thighs & drum sticks, crab cakes, neck bones and catfish nuggets. Now I need to decide what's for dinner. Which of these would you choose for dinner? What dish/dishes would you make out of the ground beef and chicken parts?
