I ended up with a judge from another state hearing my disability case and thank god approved it. you know they always turn everyone down the 1st time my lawyer told me that right off. they hope I guess that you will gibve up. , I had a lawyer to begin with and got turned down soooooo its hard to go through but have to just keep with it. thanks ruth you know it might be that your case was decided that you would not improve so thats why you did not have to go back . this was in my case also.never went back because they knew that I would get worse not better and proved right
sorry for yaking so long but all irratates me too I also was a nurse and couldnt work anymore and know some about the drs and such any way take care all ruth

It doesn't make since that they have commercials about FIBRO and DR seminars on it! Most DRs are not familiar with tv or seminars apparently. There is so much about FIBRO on internet! I had this 1 dr who said I just wanted pills to sale them I took info from internet to him he wrote my scription then said I need to find another dr I told him gladly!

Some doctors are ignorant and not worth going to! I am so glad I don't have to go thru that anymore! Sometimes even though your drs. are a good fit for you, they aren't a good fit for another person.

A medical degree does not make you all knowing. The best doctors keep learning their entire career. Medicine changes constantly and they need to keep up. Drs should also remember the we pay them!! Don't be afraid to fire one.

Doctors absolutely do not know everything, even though some may want you to think they do. One doctor I went when I first got sick, I think he was an Ortho guy, anyway, he wanted to give me injections in my back. I asked for the names of patients or someone I could talk to about those before I went any further. He burst out laughing and said out loud: "She wants references". Do I need to say that I never went back to him?
I try to educate myself by reading up on my health diagnoses and only now am I feeling up to actively taking part in my own physical well being. I have been under so much Clinical Depression for so many years that I just wanted to get through the day. I am very grateful that all that darkness and chaos is behind me. I can not possibly emphasize how much psychotherapy has helped me, even I can see the difference in myself from even this time last year.

I have real good drs now! I was saying all the ones in the past that I had for many years were not that good especially 1! I have a great pain specialist who has other Drs that work with him to treat the patients at his office! I can't understand a word my pain specialist says he either has a German accent or something but my husband understands him easily I only see him when or if medications need to be adjusted! LOVE YOUR FRIEND MANDA!
