I have a question about the yarn or lacenecklaces, what type of bead do you use?

you can use just about any type of bead that you like. That's the beauty of them. Either you can string the beads on the ladder ribbon yarn before you start your work or you can work them in as you go. As long as the opening is large enough for the yarn to pass through.

And the ladder ribbon yarn comes in all sorts of widths from the 1/8" fine ribbons to the 5/8" wide ribbons.
