MeToo, I have been truly blessed by God...a wonderful childhood and adulthood! It was my pleasure to respond to your question. As an English minor in college, I love language! As time passes on, so does the language and vernacular. I'm so thankful to be present to note and document the many changes in my lifetime. Thank you for this reminder! It brought to mind the vernacular used in Jamaica(recent trip)of which I recall hearing some of this dialect as a child born and raised in USA. Occasionally, I hear bits and pieces in this present day. Times change, but things of old will always find their place! Have a fantastic day!~Butterflyrose

Last Night's Dinner Became My Morning Breakfast...

Because of the freedom to eat what I choose, when I choose to; I had chicken enchiladas, beans & rice, salsa and tortilla chips. Bought at Taco Bueno! What a delicious dinner and breakfast that food made!

I just got an Instant Pot. I will be using it for the first time for dinner tonight.
I'm making pork chop with arborio rice.

Hello everyone, I made 3 different breakfast this morning. Complete mayhem at my house. I had 2 grand children spend the weekend with me. A 4 year old and 15 months. Its the first time I had both at the same time. It was crazy and I loved every minute of it. They are taking a nap now so I have a few minutes of quite time then it starts over again.
For dinner or the evening meal they will get Beef Bourguigon without the wine. They love the carrots.
