Just wanted to say Hi to everyone! It's been quite awhile since I've been on this site. So an update is in order. My mom is, as of this moment, still cancer free! She will have a CT scan the first of March. Last thanksgiving mom got an infection that traveled up her arm (mastectomy side) and settled in her surgery site. So mom was in the hospital for ten days. She had to have a drain put in because it abcessed. She's all healed up now. Mom's Parkinson's is worse and she's lost some mentally too unfortunately. I haven't had much time to crochet lately. And when I do have time, I'm usually resting or reading. I thank God for His strength every day. I've missed my friends on this site and I'll try to visit a bit more. I've also had three other family members battling various cancers. So far they are doing well. My sister and I are trying to decide if we want to have the genetic testing for cancer. I've heard it's a bit pricey but sometimes insurance will pay. So that's a short update of my life lately. Looking forward to spring and seeing my flowers bloom! Take care friends! Linda Mitzner
