Here is a poem I wrote a while back called My Jesus

Jesus came and died on that cross
So that He could save all of the lost
Someday I will see Him face to face
When He comes to take me home to that beautiful place
Not a crown of thorns will I see
But a halo of gold above His head will there be
When He comes and I see His glow
I will shout " Tis my Jesus, I know"
Running I will meet Him and bow down at His feet
I will praise Him and look at Him with a smile so sweet
He will lift me up with a gentle hand
And take me to join that Angelic band
I want to thank Him for my rebirth
And only Him will I serve while I am on this Earth
Every commandment I will keep
And help to bring in all His lost sheep
My Jesus, my shield, my friend, my comforter
Thee will I ever adore
The bond with thee will never sever
And I will never forsake thee, no not ever.
