Dustygirl,
My heart is aching for you and your family. The grief you are all going through seems unbearable, but God will ease your sorrow and make everything work out. God Bless your sister and her husband for taking Alex in to raise. It will be quite a change in their lives, hopefully a good one for all of them. Please take care of yourself and get some much-needed rest. You and your family are all in my prayers.

I did stay for the service for my niece. How could I not!! I left after that. I didn't got to cemetery od dinner. I hit I-75 out of Toledo & stopped in Knoxville, TN. Rested in truck in the truck stop. Hit the road early in morning. We got back into Lakeland, FL about 5:00 pm Saturday. I parked the trailer in the yard & it can just wait till I can go thru it. I'm sure I'll pitch more things. LOL The dogs were really happy to see me & I them!

Katie, I am so glad you were able to attend your niece's funeral. Even though you had so much going on with wanting to get on the road, I think it was really important for you to be there. It's one of those things that my momma would say, "In 5 years will it have mattered?" Yes. It mattered that you were there.
I'm glad you're back home, safe and sound. You've been through a lot. Take good care of yourself, hon.
Hugs,
Shelley

Hi Dustygirl,
Take care of yourself and get some rest. You're probably exhausted.
