Need Prayers, not doing to good
I have been having problems with my back and legs after I fell last week. Not getting around very good.
Went to Dr. Tuesday and really liked him he was so nice. He took time and answered all my questions. Didn't try to rush me. My blood pressure was way up. I take 5 different HBP pills and it is still high so he increased dosage on two of them. He said my heart was beating irregularly and wanted to do a EKG right then but didn't have time there is a transportation van that takes elderly people to the Dr for free and then pick them back up. They were already waiting on me. So he made an appointment for a month away so he could see if my BP meds were working and then he want to do an EKG then. If it doesn't come out ok he wants to send me to a cardiologist. But he said that all I have been through , that could be the problems. He also asked if I want councelling. It might help but don't have to much faith in them. I told him I would wait and see. He has also made an appointment with a pain management center. I hope he is as good as Dr. Chen in St.Louis.
I was really pleased with Dr. cox, and that is saying something, I don't care to much for Doctors.
So needless to say I am not doing very well. Still haven't even gotten 1/2 my boxes unpacked. But did get my tree put up though.
I need all the prayers I can get.

Hi Janice: You have been through so many changes and that is enough, and then falling. Did you get a stake to put in the yard so the dog can go out and you not risking falling again. I wish I was close because I would come help you unpack. It is hard to be unsettled. I am glad you got your tree up though! Know that I am thinking of you and hope you feel back to your old self pretty quickly.

Meerkat, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know how hard it is because I am going through the same things. I am on bp meds and heart meds also. My physical therapist thinks I might have had a small stroke even though it didn't show up on a brain scan because my right side is so weak and the lower jaw on my face is tingly. He also watched me do my exercises with my legs and the right one is acting like it don't want to work right and is definitely weaker. He is going to work with me more on that side. I know the Lord will strengthen you and heal you. He is a wonderful God and can do all things.

Thinking of you and sending good thoughts your way. I have been diagnosed with macular degeneration and a blood vessel burst behind my left eye. Was basically blind in that eye for about 3 weeks. Eye is better now but still have a little trouble seeing. Where are you living now? Did you move close to your daughter? Hugs!

MeerKat.
My prayers are with you, I know how hard it can be to ask for help, especially after losing your spouse. Consider asking your place of
worship and let them know that you just moved to the area. They can help you get settled in. Take Care

Oh Meerkat, just when you were getting it all together and moving, this had to happen. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. It is so good that you are near your daughter too. That makes it so much easier for both of you.
Hang in there and know we care. Things will get better (though if you are like me, you get a tad impatient, LOL)!!!

Janice, it is an eye problem. You loose your sight- that is what I understand. Doc said he won't let me go blind. He is a really good specialist so I trust him. I have to get injections in my eye ball. They numb the eye but it is not pleasant. I will try to be on here more. I miss all of you too.
