After traveling to the City on yesterday to attend a huge retirement party, I am just tooling around my home today. I will begin doing some household tasks this afternoon.

    ~Bed already made

This is the plan, I'll choose tasks from this list:

    ~Unload dishwasher, wash dishes
    ~Sweep master bathroom
    ~Mop master bathroom
~Pick up, put away items in family room
~Pick up, put away items in master bedroom
    ~Dust all rooms
~Clean glass insets in coffee, end and sofa table in family room
~Febreze family room, kitchen and breakfast area furniture
~Prep items for next charity pickup
    ~Clean grout in kitchen floor

Ladies, you are doing a great job in all that you accomplish. Congratulations to you!

Bills paid, filing done. Ran errands including banking and picking up my bus pass. Tonight was a shower, straighten bathroom and do a quick clean in there. Two loads of laundry are done and one already put away. Tomorrow is a day out with friends and I intend to enjoy it.

I think you'll be proud of me, Butterflyrose!

I'm still working on a major purge in my house. I'm going through EVERYTHING in every room. I've bagged up NINE black large yard leaf bags with just clothes. I'm almost done going through all my clothes and am working on getting my closets organized, one closet for summer clothes and one closet for winter things.

Next it's on to all my shoes, purses and bags.... I'm doing it!!!

A couple days ago, I decided to rearrange a few pieces of furniture in my family room. By doing so, I sorted through some books again for donation purposes. I found about 10 that I could add to the donation box. Each time, I add to a donation box and send it away, it allows more breathing space in my home. A very nice cleansing feel! Awww...

I did a major closet cleanout a few months ago and purged my closet of plenty of clothing and shoes. Soon, I'll go through again. Less is truly more in my book!

Yes, me too as it is sometimes hard to give up something you haven't worn in years! I'm trying though!

    ***Pantry Makeover***

I'm so excited! Today is the first day of my pantry makeover!!!

Day 1: First, I'll remove everything from the floor area(sort, toss and plan storage of these items). Then, I'll sweep and mop the floor.

    Update:Pantry Makeover...

My pantry has built-in wood shelves. These are the storage items being used for the makeover:black/coral storage bins, coral laser-cut bins, white bins, white stacking shelves and clear glass canisters/black lids. The canisters can be written on with chalk.

Day 1:cleaned floor area of all items, swept and mopped, removed items from one row of shelves, cleaned/washed shelves sorted some food products into catergories and stored items into bins, returned to pantry

Day 2:continue to sort food products into categories, store in bins, clean/wash shelves, return to pantry

I am liking the look of my beautified pantry makeover!!!

Unwanted kitchen small appliances donated to a thrift store on Saturday. My son took some computer speakers I no longer needed and my granddaughter grabbed a computer game. I think my kitchen is becoming more efficient with the decluttering I have done. Living alone, I am finding I need less and less as time goes by. And I like the idea of having less to deal with as time goes by. So much easier on me to clean by having less to deal with and a lot less to clean.
