I finally got a proper storage container for my Keurig coffee cups for my kitchen. My counter is so much neater now. I also got a set of shelves that I set up in the basement to store my canning jars and supplies out of my kitchen, making more room in my cupboards. I have also donated another bag of excess clutter to the local thrift store. Little by little things are getting done around here.

Recycles are gone, litter boxes cleaned. I also did some errands and picked up more yarn for the scarves I am making. I am trying to keep ahead of things. With the holidays coming, I plan to soon start decorating for Christmas and the more chores done, the less I have to do when the time comes to start decorating.

I'm slowly making progress in emptying more moving boxes. Putting the yarn in plastic storage containers (need to get more though, LOL) and deciding how to store the crochet books. Some of the cookbooks will go on the bakers rack (bought at a consignment shop) in my kitchen. Again, deciding how to store the others. And I downsized both crochet, knit and cookbooks before I moved and donated quite a bit as well as craft books I never used.

While my landscaper and his crew of four guys were working on a major project in my backyard (very labor intensive and not cheap but needed to be done), I finally hung up several pictures and artwork I had bought for my new home. Then I put away tools I had been using back in the garage cabinet. I bought small storage containers at Goodwill and repurposed them for cable ties and they are also in the garage. I use little plastic school boxes and put batteries and small nails and brads in them and keep them in my kitchen. I use others for scotch tape, scissors, small notepads, etc and also keep them in the kitchen. I tend to repurpose old food containers and use them to store office supplies, small tools. Keeps a lot out of the landfill and I don't have little packages all over the place.

    ~Sweeping
    ~Dusting
~Scraping dry paint off of a floor
    ~Cleaning toilets(3)
    ~Washing baseboards, doors and walls

    Things were sparkling!

    Christmas Drink Station...

In my family room, I have set up a drink station. Using my sofa table, I placed a copper wine cooler and filled it with bottles of flavored sparkling water along with green beaded classes, napkin holder with red/green designed napkins and a bowl of Christmas candy. Also on the sofa table is a red table runner, Christmas cards and a lamp. On the lower shelf is a large live green plant and a six tea light candle holder.

Bought the wine cooler, just for this purpose along with the green glasses!
