Spring Break Time is Almost Here
Hello,
In our area of living, Spring Break is just around the corner! Do any of you have any special plans?
My kids are going to go the Boy's and Girls club for the week. They are home all the time since we homeschool, so it will be a change.
I plan to get caught up on some pending work projects and maybe have a little time to myself. :0)
How about you?

I'm not affected too much by Spring Break. My daughter teaches in anelementary school and they had vacation two weeks ago! And they will have another week in April-just after Easter. I split babysitting for two of my grandchildren with the other grandparents. But they are going on a cruise for the next 2 weeks so I'll be babysitting full time for the nest two weeks! But I do get time to crochet when I babysit, so that wouldn't suffer! Enjoy your "me" time Barbi!!

I also home school but we seldom observe Spring Break. My son will be entering high school next year and we are going to do school all through summer to make sure he is up to speed for the transition. His birthday is today and this week is spring break in our area so I may give him the day off.

I think a lot of people are starting to homeschool their kids! My daughter is an elementary teacher, so I guess I would support public schools! I don't know that I could have homeschooled my children when they were young! Of course, back then it was almost unheard of! My week isn't exactly going as planned-both of my grandchildren are sick! It's going to be along two weeks!

Maryjane- I support public schools - they can be wonderful places. And homeschooling isn't for everyone. I live in a very small town with only one school and the administrator there was not a very mice person. It took several years before the school board did anything but he is now suspended pending an investigation into his conduct. I simply couldn't leave my son there and no other public school options. He will be a freshman next year and will be returning to public school. Sometimes we just do what we have to.
