Are any of you doing any landscaping or yard decorating this summer?
Summer time is a great time to get outside and work on the yard or front porch area if you don't have a yard. I am curious as to how many of you are working on small or large projects which add landscaping, flowers, plants, ect to your yard or outdoors living space.
Love to hear from you!

Hi Barbara,
No, we're not doing any landscaping. There are some flowers by our house.Last edited by Jean Marie; 06-30-2014 at 01:27 PM.

I would like to do some landscaping but as soon as I can I am selling this place so I can't waste the money.

I posted all my yard work and gardening under Spring gardening and I am still pooped from that! But my yard looks so pretty. In the fall we are having our yard dug up and several truck loads of topsoil hauled in and sow grass seed and throw hay on top of the seed.

Nothing is being done here at all this summer. Temperatures are now over 100F during the day so its not fit for man nor beast outside.

Can't wait to get started. Our lawn is mostly a mud puddle from the excavation that was done to fix our basement from a storm that came through. Waiting for brick for the front of the house to be done then we can start on the lawn with seeding and planting bushes, shrubs and more flowers. Hopefully the brick layers come soon!

No landscaping being done here. We sit way back in the woods and we're lucky to just get our grass cut! We have a boat and we are on it every weekend, so the yard doesn't get much attention. We only need to mow the yard once a month, because whatever the green stuff is there, it stays relatively short. It isn't grass. I would love a beautiful garden and yard, but we just don't do that. We'd rather play! I do have a lot of lovely ferns and some daisies that are just beginning to bloom. I'll post photos of them when they open up.

I might plant some more flowers, but that's about it. We own our trailer but we don't own the land so there isn't much we can do without permission, and they don't usually give permission unless it's something small.

Hi Barbara,
We do have some stones by our house in a rectangle frame(one longer and one shorter) and 1 big rock.
We also have stones on the other side of the house and by the garage.Last edited by Jean Marie; 06-26-2014 at 06:12 PM.
