My first love is crocheting and second is painting. Used to do 3 and 4 day craft shows before
retiring. Miss seeing and talking to all the talented crafters.

I made one stained glass item, but between the cost of the class and the distance to drive had to give it up. Was way to expensive for me.

Since I have been laid up for the past year with severe back pain I seem to do more reading, have done some hand knitting, was just getting started on a new singer knitting machine when I had back surgery so now am in a brace for another two months and cannot do much until I see the dr. on the 30th. Also no driving so getting to the store is not easy, even tho my husband would take me, but it has been such cold weather I haven't wanted to go out and take a chance of falling, but am getting very ansty to be able to do a few things. At the moment I am hand knitting a sweater for my granddaughter who is 7.

Hi Yorkie Mom,
I pray that when you go to the doctor, the doctor would be able to help you in some way to alleviate your pain.

Yes,Yorkie Mom. It is an expensive hobby, but if you love stained glass pieces, it is much less than buying the finished product.
By your name, it seems you love the same breed I do. I have a Yorkie, Miss Molly.
She rules the roost.lol
