I definitely believe it was a sign that she was telling her she was okay. My mom passed in 2012 and was cremated. I had her ashes at my house till Sept 10, 2013 (my dads birthday) since I wanted to bury her next to him (he died in 1986) at the national cemetery where he is buried and I thought that was a very appropriate date. Anyway, a few days after the very private burial, I was in my house and heard a music box play. I walked into the living room where I keep it on the living room window sill and the little telephone music box my mom had given to my husband (who passed in 1999) and I as an anniversary present many years ago had started to play on its own. The song was "I just called to say I love you". I know it was her telling me she was okay and with my dad. Someone asked me if maybe a truck had set it off but it was a Sunday when it happened and my block was very quiet. Things happen very mysteriously and for a reason, at least I like to think that.
