I'm looking for a crochet doll poncho pattern

Here is one that I found for free. I personally would add some rows to it:

for that pattern if it is short perhaps you could do extra rows. Plus granny squares usually make good ponchos. Also depending on the size of the doll try looking for baby clothes patterns.
Another thing to try is to make a circle the size to fit over the doll's head. Join chain three, and dc around. but at four even intervals, do [ 2dc, ch, 2dc] in the same stitch around and join at top of ch3, Ch3 and dc around doing shell in the ch1 of previous row. Continue until desired length then you can go around with a different color at neck and bottom with sc and finish off as desired.
