Hello
Hello,
I've just joined and wanted to say hello to everyone.
I found this site by accident. I was trying to find a correction in a pattern and found this site instead.
It seems to be one I'd really enjoy as I love to crochet.

What is the correction you need on the pattern? Some on the forum could probably help you. Glad to have you sign in on here. I am Margaret in south Texas.

Ytk9z The lady that signed saying she does doilies works in thread and makes the most beautiful doilies. She Signs in as being in Eastern Europe. A person signed in last week from the UK There are many crocheters in Canada. Minnasota has a lot of Them. I tought like you it was a dying art. But there are 6 of them in Texas. And 2 others in Ohio.. I think they posted last month there is 1,000 people signed in. Several men along with the women. So if you have a problem someone can and will help.
Where do you live in Ohio? I was raised along the Ohio River across from Wheeling. W>VA. That was hill country.and a lot of the old timers would sit and teach the youngins to crochet and knit. I am left handed so it was hard to find someone to teach me. But one sweet old lady living near us took me one summer, she taught me to crochet and cook. And kept me out of trouble.
Did you find the correction? Margaret

If you've got ole eyez like yours truly, you'll need to use magnifying spectacles, YT, that's all. Take a gander at the kind of fun you can have with thread crochet here at this thread. Some of the flutterbys only take 3 minutes to make. My kinda project (middle name's Ants-in-the-Pants, LOL!).
