Long time crocheter
I have been crocheting for about 45 years. I like thread crochet the best but also enjoy yarn.

Welcome to the group. I admire those who like to crochet with thread. I've made a very few things with thread, like small bookmarks. It just goes too slow to suit me, so I mainly stick to yarn.

Thank you for your response.
Thread crochet can go fast once you get used to it. I learned Thread crochet first, then yarn later. It is the same stitches. I do a lot of doilies, some baby things. I have also made many afghans and baby blankets with yarn. It is all fun to do.

Long time crocher
Would love to see some. Where do you get your patterns?
I am always on the lookout for patterns everywhere I go and try the patterns in neutral and colors. A lot of old patterns use 40 thread, but I just do them 10 or 20. Out of print crochet magazines such as Magic Crochet are great. Of course I like Crochet World and Interweave Crochet and subscribe to both.
