    Hello!

Hello, glad to be a part of this forum.
I am currently a 23 year old wife and mother to a two year old baby girl.
My name is Rashelle, but I go by Shelley.
I have 1 dog, 3 cats, one bird, and approximately 20 fish.

I had a ferret who died two years ago. I was pregnant at the time and I tried not to get hysterical for my baby's sake. I never truly got to grieve for Jericho, whom I'd had for 7 years.

The day he died, my mother-in-law was here. My husband was at work and I did not want to be alone. So my mother in law took me to her house for the day. To get my mind off of Jericho, she taught me a couple of basic steps on how to crochet (chains, sc, and dc). I practiced with what she taught me for about a month. Then I looked on YouTube and learned even more.

Within one year I was selling some of my stuff. I absolutely love to crochet. Not a day goes by that I don't do a couple rows or rounds at the least. I cannot wait to share my projects with you, and to see all of yours.

Hi Shelley and welcome to CT. You'll never be lonely as long as your puter works cuz there is always something new going on here. Everyone is helpful and caring. We all enjoy looking at pics of what you've done or are doing. I still don't know how I ever get a pic to post but I keep trying anyway. Someday the "lightbulb" will come on and I'll get it LOL Have a wonderful day. I'm Shelly from Lancaster Co., PA, with one hubby, 2 grown kids, 5 grandkids and 2 longhair dachshunds. I do some knitting but crochet is my favorite. HUGS, Shelly

Hi Shelly, and welcome. You sound like you will fit right in! Sorry about your little ferret. They are amazing little creatures. My son had one when he got his first apartment. He kept going to his sock drawer - and no socks! He finally found a huge bunch of them underneath his kitchen sink, way in the back. That little ferret was stealing them and hiding them away.

Jericho would steal my niece's toys and anything with buttons - remotes, shirts, etc - and hide them under the couch. It took us a while to figure out that he was stealing and hiding them. He especially loved the little rubber duckies. I miss the way he would hop around and "bark" {sounded more like a squeak}. They definitely are amazing.

I wanted to get an albino female and name her Jacinta, to be a "mate" for Jericho {they couldn't ever breed though}. Never got the chance.

Hello Sherrie. I am Audrey from Pa. I have crocheted for over 30 years. Good job in selling your work already. I crochet for other people and you never know what you are going to get. I mostly do the filet stitch. Good luck in your crocheting
