Just a reminder - October 11 is I Love Yarn Day

Just reminding everyone that tomorrow (may already be Oct 11 for those out of the US) is I Love Yarn Day. I am going to sing to my yarn and let them know I appreciate them. And then maybe go buy a bit more.

Anyone else doing anything??

I will be furiously working on some more minion hats for my great nephews. My brother is coming to visit next week and I can send them home with him instead of having to mail them.

I have 2 to make for them and 1 for my niece's boyfriend, and 2 more for a friend's grandkids! LOL I'll really be busy!!!

I'll be working furiously with my yarn trying to get as many things done as possible for craft show on Sat. Don't know why I'm even on the puter except that I like you guys best

Carry on Yarn Soldier....I let every one of you down on Oct. 11

I was otherwise engaged with my mother in law. I didn't have a chance to get near any yarn since I was taking her to dr. appts. Yarn was on my mind, I yearned for it, the touch of it, the marked down prices, the clearance bin....my heart was yearning. Alas, I have to admit I let all you soldiers {SALUTE} down, who no matter what was on your plate, you forged ahead and added to your stash. I am so ashamed I let my mother in law keep me from my duty and right to buy more yarn

lol I FORCED myself to stay home! Michael's had a sale on some yarn I wanted but I just couldn't do it. Believe me it was a hard thing to do too! I am taking a short trip at the end of this week and I really couldn't spend the money. I just wanted one skein but I knew if I went in the store it would turn into more skeins than I can afford. LOL
