Baby shoes and bootees
Thank you to Shelly, Annette and Dinah for your warm welcome to the Forum.[ATTACH=CONFIG]6394[/ATTACH] As requested, I am attempting to upload a picture, but it's taking me some time! All the patterns were free on You Tube, as follows: Shoes - HappyBerry Crochet. These shoes have a double sole, so I didn't make it easy on myself for my first attempt at crochet! Blue-green bootees - Bernat Handicrafters (the flower was my idea). Very easy pattern I completed in an evening; Laced bootee (mock cable, shown in bright blue on You Tube) - Christy Hills. I used a 'knotty' type yarn, so the pattern doesn't show up too well, but I love the texture! The Bernat site is great for beginner knitters, showing individual stitches.
It's tricky to attach pics until you get the hang of it. After you attach your pic, you can click "preview post", and if the attachment link shows up in the middle of your text, like your pic did, you can move it to another place below your post by using the regular "cut and copy" method and paste it where you want it in your post.
