A simple question
Can you spray paint yarn?
I can't find glow in the dark yarn or even black light yarn but for the glow in the dark
effect could I use glow in the dark spray paint on cotton yarn?

I can't say for sure but if you use fabric spray paint I think it would work. I think you are saying you would paint the project after it's finished otherwise the yarn would probably be too stiff to crochet. I've seen glow in the dark fabric spray paint in the "decorate T shirts" sections at Michaels and AC Moore. Let me know what you decide to do and how it turns out cuz now you have me curious. If the paint works on cotton T shirts, shouldn't it work on cotton yarn? There I to trying to think again...I'll never learn LOL Good Luck boodamom

Do you have a JoAnn's store near you? I think they have glow in the dark yarn there but it is acrylic not cotton.

I see the glow in the dark yarn in more stores now, Walmart has it near me, and several of the hobby stores have it. I can't imagine ruining good yarn with spray paint. But I don't know what your project is, and that may make a difference. Good luck to you.
