Cataract /right eye done!

Hello everyone!
My right eye is done and went just fine! I don't remember any pain as far as surgery goes.....the only pain was putting the IV in and that wasn't really too bad. I am staying tonight again with my friend an she is very good to me. We went to Texas Roadhouse for supper . I had a 2 hour nap this afternoon. I am feeling pretty good. You guys were right....the colors are really so much prettier than I ever expected! I was riding back to the house and it is dark outside now.....I said this is the most beautiful place I have ever seen..the lights are so beautiful! I still have problems reading but I expect that to clear up as my eye heals.

Patty so glad everything went well, my Mom has had both of hers done and she says she sees so much better now also. Prayer for a continue healing.

Thank you for posting this I was afraid I was going to have to come up there to find out how it went. I am so glad you are done with one eye and you know how easy it is so you won't be dreading the other eye being done. Blessings your way!!

I'm glad to hear everything went well! My mother says the same things about colors being prettier. Also, my mother took care of my grandmother for a lot of years before grandmother passed away. Neither of them ever drove and didn't go out after dark. My mom was being brought home to shower when my grandmother was in the hospital one time and she commented on how pretty the lights were from the street lights and cars. It really makes you think.

HI all! I just came back home to my house this morning and am glad to be here. My good friends Don and Deb have been the best friends I ever had to let me come and stay there for a few days. I posted on Facebook and now also on crochet talk. I love the colors that I am able to see now. I didn't think my right eye (lazy eye) would ever be this good. I have not been able to see well with it my whole life and now it is better than what used to be the good eye. I can't imagine what it is going to be like after they fix it! Right now it's like looking thru fog on a foggy day. I don't think I will ever stop being amazed at the pretty colors I see now. And they will be even better when that eye is done. Just wanted to let you all now I feel so good and never expected the results to be this good. You girls who said you need cataract surgery ....go for it! Make your appointments today!
