    What does sc2tog mean?

    I found this I hope it helps let me know if not I can try and walk you through it. See below

    sc2tog is an abbreviation for "single crochet 2 together." This tells you to use single crochet to join two stitches together to decrease.

    To sc2tog: insert your hook into a stitch and draw up a loop. Then insert your hook into the next stitch and draw up a loop. Finally, yarn over (yo) and draw through all 3 loops on your hook.

    Also if you have any crochet books if you look in front or back of book usually it will show you how to do all of the different stitches.

    Glenda, everyone here is so helpful, and can answer most questions. But if you need a video on any stitch, be sure to go to Youtube and search for the name of the stitch. There are lots of videos about crochet on there.

    Just a hint - 2sctog is also called a decrease in some patterns.
