Winter dog boots(crochet pattern)

With winter fast approaching here in Minnesota, I am on a mission to find a decent crochet pattern for dogs paws. They are way too expensive in pet stores and with the right information, I am pretty sure I could make them. Appreciate anyone's help!

Actually having a hard time finding a pattern per se. I wondered if you can use a baby bootie pattern and just add height to it. Just a thought...maybe others will have some ideas, too. All the patterns I am finding are for sewing them.

Yea, I have found a few but they were with regular yarn and that won't work well with snow. I appreciate your looking and I may end up sewing them instead.
